This year will be my 3rd here at Park Middle School - my home away from home!
I received my teacher certification through Rider University and am currently
pursuing a master's degree in Reading Curriculum & Instruction K-12 through
Grand Canyon University's online program. My love for books runs deep and I
know we will have some great conversations in class about them. Along with
books, pens, and paper, I also teach with tap shoes and ballet bars. During
the week I work at 2 different dance studios teaching a variety of styles.
Besides teaching, reading, and dancing, I love to relax with my family and
enjoy life to the fullest. I look forward to a fantastic year with all of you!
My ultimate goal for the class is to instill a love and motivation for reading
and writing in each student. In our classroom all opinions, thoughts, and
questions are encouraged and respected. Everyone's voice is important! Here we
will all stretch beyond our limits and push to the edges of our minds with
books as our guides. I also hope to promote social and personal growth among
my students along with their academic development. I care about each child and
will do all that I can to be a stepping stone in their journey toward success!
