Hello fellow students and parents,
I am very excited to be teaching at park middle school! This is my 3rd year
here at Park Middle! In 2007 I graduated from Rutgers University with a degree
in History and also received a
masters degree in K-8 education with a specialization in 6-8 Social Studies.
Something interesting about me is that I went through the Scotch Plains
Fanwood Public School district, so I am familiar with the district as well as
the community! Another interesting thing about me is that my parents live in
INDIA! I keep in touch with them almost everyday and travel there every two
years.If you have questions about India, feel free to ask me! I
look forward to a wonderful year!
My goal for the class is to create a safe environment in which students feel
comfortable and are eager to learn! Geography is a very broad subject that is
more than just maps, it also covers travel,and many countries and cultures!
My main focus is to get my students to think critically almost everyday so
that the learning becomes meaningful.
