On Line Social Studies book now available - Usernames and Passwords given out
in class
Students have created rectangular array art which is displayed in the
classroom. Also, the 5th graders are working on writing creative leads to
stories and writing seed ideas for future stories that they will write.
- We have also been working on "showing sentences" which you will also see at
Back to School Night on the back wall. Student photos are affixed to their
respective writing samples.
- Students are also experimenting with mixtures and solutions in science
class They have learned the difference between a mixture and a solution and
used tests to classify different mixtures.
- Math baseball has been a real hit with many students striving to break the
next record. Keep up the excellent work!
