1)How long is a paragraph?

The rule of thumb is 5-8 sentences. In this class it should be �however long
it takes you to explain your answer in complete sentences with details.�

2)What is my heading?

Upper left hand corner � Your full name
			      Present Date
			      Class � ie: 6-1 or 8-3B

3)What do I do if my computer freezes?

Click on your desktop �  (It�s the first screen you see when you turn on the
computer.)
Then click on the blue apple. (upper left hand corner)
Scroll down to Force Quit and click
Then choose the program that "froze" on you (usually it�s highlighted in red)
Click on Force Quit
Then close the window.  
Resume working.

**If this doesn�t work turn off the computer by holding down the on/off button
for a count of 10 seconds. The screen and the white light will turn off. **

4)My computer won�t log in.

Check to see that you spelled your name correctly and that your username
begins with a number.
Then check to see that your cap locks is turned off. (No green light)
Then check to see that you are using the right password. It should be written
somewhere in your binder.
Then check to see that the Ethernet cable is plugged into the computer. The
Ethernet cable looks like a telephone cable.
Change your seat if all else fails.  If this doesn�t work call me.

5)Where do I print to?

Print only final copies to Room 301 from your list of printers.  The printer
is outside of the room. It is not the black printer in the room.
Do not print websites or long pages of text.  If you need information from a
particular article or website, copy and paste only the information relevant to
you in a Word document, cite it, and then print that.  You will be saving a
lot of paper.

6)What do I do when I�m done with my work?

1)Work on Typing skills � from my website
2)Do a Brainbooster from my website
3)Write a poem, story, intro dialogue for a play, cartoon, etc.
4)Create an original piece of music on Garageband. No one should be able to  
   hear it but you.
5)Create a podcast.

7) Do I have to create a works cited page?

Yes, if you want credit for your work and want to give credit to others.
