Course Description: Appropriate technology plays an important role to assist
students in achieving the greatest results from their education. Student’s
writing skills combined with access to word processing create opportunities
for students to master writing skills with technological support. This
application of technology in a writing lab enhances written communications
skills and allows students to revise, edit, and self-assess through their own
personal electronic writing portfolios. The focus on improving writing skills
through the use of appropriate technology will increase the writing
experiences beyond the language arts classroom serving as a powerful motivator
for students.
