Welcome back everyone! As October begins, all of the choruses have begun
rehearsing their music for the Winter Concerts! I look forward to learning
lots of music this month!
Congratulations to Anna Close for successfully auditioning for the ACDA
Eastern Jr. High Honor Choir! She will be performing in Philadelphia with a
300 person choir! Good luck Anna!
Thank you to everyone who auditioned for the Blue Notes, the select choir of
Park Middle! Congratulations to the new group chosen for Blue Notes! We
begin rehearsing on Thursday, October 1, 2009. To those who auditioned:
please keep working hard on better breath control and singing on pitch
without the piano. We will have open auditions in January for the Spring
season. Work hard and be prepared - good luck!
Our first opportunity for an auditioned choir is just around the corner!
Region II Intermediate Chorus will be auditioned on Saturday, November 21,
2009. More information to come in chorus classes for 6th, 7th, and 8th
graders.
Keep yourself healthy as the weather changes! Sleep 8 hours a night and
drink lots of water.
