I received my BA in Music Education from Montclair State University.
Throughout college and my early years of teaching, I played the clarinet and
French Horn. Since retiring my French Horn in 2001, I have concentrated on
singing and work at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Hoboken, while
teaching piano and voice privately in the immediate area. This will be my
4th year in the adult community choir, Celebration Singers, based in
Cranford, NJ.
Since working in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood district, I have completed my
Masters of Music degree in Music Education at Rutgers University and the
Kodaly Certification Program at NYU. During my years at Park Middle School,
I have sponsored many students each year in various regional and state
choirs. I have instituted the Blue Notes, an auditioned choir for 7th and
8th grade chorus members, organized the Coffee House and competitive trips to
Dorney Park Music in the Parks. I am very proud of all the Park choruses for
their accomplishments as well as individual students for their musical
accomplishments beyond Park Middle!
Music has always been a part of my life, and I hope to share my love of music
with all of my students and colleagues.

music can offer!
GENERAL MUSIC: To learn music reading skills through singing and playing
songs from a variety of backgrounds. To increase awareness about and of
music through discussions and essays while having a good time!
