How can I get in touch with you?

The best way to contact me is by email. Email me at 
lshare@spfk12.org. I am also available from 11:00 to 12:00 if you 
want to call me at school.

Where can I find you?

I teach in room 118 which is located downstairs by the media 
center.

What is the homework policy?

Homework will be posted each day when you arrive in class.It is 
your responsibility to copy it down as soon as you sit at your 
desk. I also post assignments on my website.  

Each homework assignment is worth 10 points. If you hand in 
homework on the next day (one day late), you may receive half 
credit. After that, you will lose 10 points towards your homework 
grade. You will receive a homework grade after every 10 
assignments. 

If you neglect to submit a major project/writing piece on the day 
it is due, you will lose 5 points for each day it is late.

How will my grade be determined?

Each marking period, your grade will be derived from 
assessments/evaluations in the following areas - 

READING
1. Phonics
2. Fluency
3. Vocabulary
4. Reading Comprehension 
5. Homework Completion 
6. Classroom Participation (see rubric)

ENGLISH
1. Grammar
2. Writing Samples 
3. Homework Completion
4. Class Participation
