Who is Mrs. Stack?

Welcome to 2009-2010 school year at Park Middle School!
Here is some background information about me. I graduated Magna Cum
Laude from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a
minor in Psychology. I decided to further my education and went on to earn
my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Fairleigh Dickinson
University. Currently, I am a graduate student at Rutgers University,
finishing a Master's Degree in Principal and Supervisor Certification.
This is my fourth year at Park Middle School, and really love it here! I
taught fourth grade at McGinn Elementary School here in Scotch Plains, and
really enjoyed my time there. I am entering my fifth season as the head coach
of the Varsity Volleyball program at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.
I was lucky enough to marry Mr. Stack, a Social Studies teacher at
Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, on July 24, 2005. I became a mommy for
the first time on April 30, 2009! My son, Logan, is so wonderful! I love
every minute with him! Mr. Stack and I also have a cat, Namath (yes, we are
HUGE Jets fans).
I truly love what I do, and believe that teaching is a wonderful
profession. I take great pride in my work, and I believe that message comes
across in my teaching.
I look forward to meeting my new class. I know we will have an awesome
school year!

Hopes and aspirations for the year...

My mission for the school year is that all of my students achieve their
goals. Every child sets certain benchmarks for himself/herself; it is my
job to help each of them attain those goals, and possibly strive to surpass
them.

"Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one."
