I have been teaching at Park for the past six years. I received a Masters of
Art in Teaching from Monmouth University in 2000. Prior to being a teacher I
worked in corporate America for almost seven years...deciding to become a
teacher was the best thing I ever did! I find teaching to be both rewarding
and exciting. I look forward to meeting all my 6th grade students and passing
on my love for both reading and writing.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jay, my son Dean,
and my daughter, Giuliana. We love to play outside, go for bike rides,
and we absolutely LOVE to root for the YANKEES and the JETS!!! You will hear
me talk a lot about both teams.
Mrs. Zazzara hopes to foster a positive environment in her classroom
where all students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas.
She also hopes to inspire students to become life-long readers & writers,
who enjoy reading literature and can discuss their thoughts and feelings
with friends and family. A great way to become a better writer is to read

It is important to have a love of learning and of reading & writing. Mrs.
Zazzara encourages her students to discuss books they've read with family,
friends, and teachers! And to jot down any ideas they have about anything at
all...you never know, you could turn it into a fabulous piece of writing!
