About Us

Fr. Scott Attanasio - Vice President of Mission & Ministry; School Chaplain
Miss Kaitlyn Tashjian - Campus Ministry Coordinator
The Office of Campus Ministry endeavors to bring the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni of Queen of Peace High School.  We utilize retreats, education, service, liturgy, prayer, community and worship as our primary tools of achieving this goal.  Campus Ministry is about helping our community connect with God on a deeper level and grow in our Catholic faith.
The mission of Campus Ministry is to:
  • Proclaim the Gospels
  • Through action and deed to promote the ideals of faith, knowledge, honor, and responsibility
  • Provide opportunities for the QPHS community to grow spiritually in their relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Educate and encourage action regarding contemporary moral and social problems, as well as to urge people to work for peace and justice in our world
  • Bring the community to a greater appreciation and involvement in the liturgical celebrations of the Church
  • Compliment the greater goals and objectives of Queen of Peace High School
The purpose of the Campus Ministry Department is to promote the spiritual well being of the school.  We do so by providing school-wide Masses and celebrations, prayer and retreat experiences, opportunities for peer ministry, community service, personal counseling, and sacramental ministry. The goal of Campus Ministry is to foster the total spirit growth of our students, to empower our students to live a disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today, and to encourage our students to share their gifts and minister to others.
The Office of Campus Ministry provides students with opportunities for retreats, days of recollection, Celebration of the Eucharist, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and other prayer experiences that enable them to grow in faith.
