and read Word of the Day each day over the weekend.

Due on Wednesday, 11/4:  Complete homework sheet on facts about the keyboard 
layout, Christopher Sholes, and August Dvorak from Internet research notes.

Due on Tuesday, 10/27:  Complete word search on Excel terms.  Study handouts 
and notes for a test on Excel terms.  NOTE:  Section 3 will take the Excel 
test on Thursday, 10/29 due to cancellation of Block 1 on 10/27.

Due on Friday, 10/23:  Review class notes and Excel handout for an upcoming 
test next week.

Due on Wednesday, 10/21:  :  Review class notes and Excel handout.  
Define terms from the handout in your notebook:  Spreadsheet, worksheet, 
columns, rows, formula, chart, active cell, cell reference box, formula bar, 
status bar, and scroll bar.

Due on Monday, 10/19:  Complete homework sheet on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Take the SAT review questions daily on qphs.org over the long weekend.

Due on Wednesday, 10/7:  Review handout and notes on the SAT.
Complete homework sheet.

Due on Monday, 10/5:  Show and describe proper technique by drawing a 
picture of a person (or character) sitting at the keyboard in proper 
keyboarding position.  Use an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper.  Use color and 
detail.  Put your name on the BACK of the sheet.

Due on Tusday, 9/29:  Study for a test.
Read handout--Computer Safety and Operation Basics.
Review class notes.

Due on Friday, 9/25:  Complete homework sheet on Computer Safety and 
Operation Basics--guided reading questions.

Due on Monday, 9/21:
Read the Student Handbook--Dress Code and Appearance.
Expectation sheets not handed in will receive a homework grade of 0.
Make sure you have the marble-cover notebook, pen, and folder.

Due on Thursday, 9/17:
Get expectations signed.
Bring supplies to class.
