review concluding with the Principle of Catholic Soical Teaching
We share in Christ's role as priest, prophet, and king. As a priestly people, we share
in a unique priestly vocation with Christ and other baptized Christians. We are called
to be holy and to make the world holy, as well as to work toward reconciliation and
the common good. We share in Christ's mission as the prophet by listening to and
speaking God's Word. We can be God's prophets and preach the Gospel both by what
we say and what we do. As a kingly people, we share in Christ's ministry as a servant
king, to work for transformation of the world. We share in Christ's royal work when
we work toward a more just, peaceful, and compassioinate world.
