When is extra help available?
Extra help is available on Wednesdays after school until 4 PM. If Wednesdays
are not convenient, students may ask for extra help on another day!
Are there solos for the concert?
Yes, there are solos. Auditions for these solos will be announced during
chorus.
What is Honors Choir?
Honors choir is a very special honor! Students are chosen based on behavior
throughout the year as well as ability to sing. A student does not have to
have a "perfect" voice to be in Honors Choir! We look for enthusiasm and love
of music.
When will we receive information about Honors Choir?
Honors choir information will be sent home before the holiday/winter break.
It
is requested that students who are interested in Honors choir let Mrs. Heck
know.
Does the choir get to go on trips?
Trips are in the works...
Is this a graded class?
Yes...Students are graded on their attendance, cooperation, and appropriate
behavior. They are NOT graded on singing or musical ability. Attendance is
very important- every minute of rehearsal is precious!
Can I be in Band and Chorus?
YES! If you choose to be in band and chorus, you will attend band M-W-F with
Ms. LaCorte and chorus Tuesday/Thursday with Mrs. Heck.
Are there rehearsals after school?
No- we rehearse each day during 8th period.
When can I go to another teacher for help?
You may go out for extra help with other academics on Mondays during 8th
period. Rehearsal time is extremely important, and since most teachers are
available after school, the "help-day" is restricted to Monday. Students with
serious problems may arrange another schedule with Mrs. Heck.
When are the concerts? What should I wear for concerts?
See "Announcements" page.
