I graduated from Mendham High School in 1984 and earned a
BA from the University of Delaware in 1988. After enjoying a career in
business, I returned to school to become a teacher. I earned a
Masters in Education from Antioch University Seattle. I have taught at
Riverdale School since 1999. All but one of those years has been spent
teaching language arts/literacy to grade 7/8 students. In addition to
teaching LAL, I am also the Grade 8 Class Advisor. I love working with middle
schoolers!
It is my hope that all students leave for high school with
confidence, effective communication skills, and an awareness of the joy
reading can bring to life.
