HOMEWORK POLICY
It is important for students to develop a sense of responsibility and
remembering to do and bring their homework in on time is one way to
accomplish this. I follow the homework policy outlined in the Student
Handbook - so please read and review the handbook when it is sent home.
To receive full credit on their assignments, students need to bring all
homework in completed and on time. Late or missing homework that does not
come in with a note from their parent(s) or guardian(s) or is the result of
an absence will not receive credit.
MATERIALS FOR MY CLASS
Materials you need for Ms. Ventricelli's class
* 3 Ring Binder (2 or 2 1/2 inch binder is the best for my class)
* (Optional: You may want to keep your POD's - "Problem of the Day" in a
spiral notebook instead of your binder)
Spiral notebook with 3 holes - not too thick - just in case you want to
store it in your binder.
* Pens: I allow you to use gel pens for note taking and homework, but your
tests/quizzes must be done in blue or black pen for full credit.
Notebook set-up
3-Ring Binder Set-Up
* Dividers (3)-Should be labled: Chapter Work, Skills, and Notes (put blank
paper in your notes section.
* You can also use spiral notebooks for your notes and POD. If this is the
way you would like to set up your notebook, you will only need two
dividers labled Chapter Work and Skills.
