Homework - completion

All homework can be viewed by clicking on the subject and teachers name for
those assignments, quizzes, and tests each week. You will always know what
is expected of you if you use the homework web site and follow the following
rules.

The Seven Key Elements For Successful Completion of Homework

1.	Attitude: I must accept the fact that my homework is an essential
part of my education and will make my life more rewarding in the long run.
(Yes, video games and TV are fun, but they won’t help me get through school)

2.	Assignment Origin: I must write down the assignment as soon as it
is given. Only this way can I be sure to know what to do and what books or
papers to bring home for my work.

3.	Before I Leave School: I must be sure I have all the books, papers
and any other materials I need to accomplish my task.

4.	Start Immediately: When I arrive home from school, I will
immediately begin my homework. (Of course, I can use the bathroom and have
a drink and a snack, but I don’t have time to play games or watch TV until
my homework is done)

5.	Loading My Backpack for School: I must be sure to put all my
homework back in the proper folder and then in my backpack so I will get
credit for my hard work. If I don’t bring my assignment to school and turn
it in, I don’t get credit for doing the work!

6.	Long term Projects: I will be sure to know the deadline for my long
term projects. I will be sure to let Mom and Dad know what materials and
information will be needed as soon as possible so we won’t have a last
minute crisis. I will set a timetable to complete it before the deadline so
I don’t create any unnecessary pressure on myself.

7.	Studying for Tests and Quizzes: Being prepared for tests and
quizzes is essential to good grades. I must review my assignments and
reread my books in order to insure that I achieve the best grade I can get.
(Besides, someday when I’m on Jeopardy, I’ll be glad that I remember all the
things I’ve learned!)
