Welcome to Robert R. Lazar's Guidance Website! My name is Debbie Meenan. I
am the sixth grade guidance counselor for the 2008-2009 school year. I
have the pleasure of working with the students through their middle
school career. I have been a guidance counselor at Lazar since 2001 and
previously I was a middle school teacher for many years!
This year I will be working with your children to transition them from
elementary school into Lazar. We work together to explore their talents and
abilities, assist with study skill techniques along with making new friends.
I am available for individual and group meetings with the sixth graders when
needed. I will be doing a career lesson with them in the middle of the year
to begin to disucss the vocabulary associated with career options and school
choices.
I am always available for the students when a problem arises; whether it is
friendship related, stress management,an academic concern,family situation
