Welcome back to school! I am thrilled to be the 7th grade counselor for the
2008-2009 school year. It is so nice to see all of the familiar faces from
last year, as well as the 7th graders who are new to the district.
This year I will be working with your children to further develop their
study skill techniques through the classroom teachers and individual
meetings. Also, students will be involved in the second part of a Career
development lesson which began last spring.
Students scoring in the advanced proficient category on the ASK 6
standardized test, given last spring, will be invited to join the
ROGATE/John Hopkins program in the fall.
As a school counselor I can be of assistance in many ways. I can help you
find solutions to your problems, meet the challenges of growing up, and help
you better understand and appreciate your individual differences. Please
