Welcome to Robert R. Lazar's Guidance Website! My name is Debbie Meenan. I am the seventh grade guidance counselor for the 2009-2010 school year. I have the pleasure of working with the students through their middle school career. I have been a guidance counselor at Lazar since 2001 and previously I was a middle school teacher for many years! This year I will be working with your children to further investigate their interests, and strengths both as a member of the community, and as a student. We will probelm solve together and discuss their future academic plans. I am available for individual and group meetings with the seventh graders when needed. I will be doing another career lesson with them in the middle of the year. We will continue looking at their interest clusters by taking a survey to get them thinking about elective courses they may want to consider for ninth grade.
