World Language Resource is staffed with a teacher each period of the day for help and making up quizzes and tests. We have our resource area in M Hall opposite the Faculty bathroom. I am on duty period 8 and the other French teacher, Madame Michelson, has period 3. I am also available for help before or after school by arrangement.Back to Top
How often do the students have homework?
Students usually have written homework on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday with a vocabulary learning homework on Thursday. This is a general rule that can sometimes vary. There is also often time for students to start their homework at the end of class. I do not usually give homework on the weekend (except to upper level classes)as I view that as quality free time.Back to Top
How often and when are tests and quizzes?
Quizzes are usually given on Fridays - depending on the school's schedule - days off and snow etc. Tests are usually midweek. I NEVER give quizzes or tests on Mondays. That's the day to review!Back to Top
What is the policy for making up work missed from absences?
Students should check what they have missed - either personally or via this website. Worksheets should be completed promptly and it is the student's responsibility to get the credit via a homework stamp.Back to Top
Students are given a homework calendar each month. When homework is checked in class a stamp is placed on the calendar. Each stamp is worth five points. The calendar is collected at the end of the month for the homework credit.Back to Top
