Welcome to K-2!
November is here and the holiday season is approaching.
The children have been busy in class learning about the importance of our
families. They have read lots of stories about families and even made their
very own family trees. They are display in the hallway for you to see on
Parent Visitation Day which is scheduled for this Thursday, November 19,
2009. I hope all parents are able come and visit our class and see what
wonderful things the children are learning this year in kindergarten.
In K-2 we are continuing to try to keep the children as healthy as possible
in school during this cold and flu season. Donatations of clorox wipes, baby
wipes and tissues are always appreciated.
Now that the weather is cooler please remember to send your child to school
with an appropriate sweater/jacket for the forecast. The children will go
outside for recess every day unless it is raining. Comfortable shoes are
always a plus as well! Encourage your child to learn how to put his/her
jacket on by themselves. We are always there to help however, we do
encourage independence whenever we can.
