Welcome to K-2!
Can you believe that September is already over! Welcome Fall!
The children had a great time at our Fire Safety program today. They got to
talk with fire fighters and learn about staying safe. The children also got
to visit the fire trucks, climb aboard and see all of the cool equipment that
it carries. Most importantly all of the children got a turn to spray the
fire hose! It was lots of fun!
In class we are decorating our class for the fall...what a beautiful time of
year!
Now that the weather is cooler please remember to send your child to school
with an appropriate sweater/jacket for the forecast. The children will go
outside for recess every day unless it is raining. Comfortable shoes are
always a plus as well! Encourage your child to learn how to put his/her
jacket on by themselves. We are always there to help however, we do
encourage independence whenever we can.
