Homework assignment sheets will be given out every Friday in preparation for
the following week. We will begin our new reading/ spelling/ language series
on Monday, September 15th. Beginning on Friday, September 12th, your child
will bring home a sheet with the reading flashcard "sight words" for the
following week's story. Please review them daily with your child. They will
be expected to read these words independently. In the event that homework
cannot be completed, please write me a note. In addition to the homework,
please have your child read to you daily.
