REMINDERS:
Too many students were forgetting to bring in their library books on Thursday
so I would like you to send them in a day early. Since we do not have school
on Wednesday of this week I would appreciate if you could send the book in by
Tuesday this week only. Thanks!!
Please send in a Show and Tell every Friday that begins with the letter of
the week. This is for participation in a game that is an enjoyable way to
teach the students better oral presentation skills, and it is also a lot of
fun!
I would also like to tell you that the students will be getting their first
report cards in a few weeks. Your attitude towards this time is very
important. Focus on the positive! The kindergarten report cards are not
like the ones for the older grades. It is instead a type of game plan that
lists what the children have to do to improve. The grades are G, S,and N and
do not correspond to letter grades such as A,B,C, etc. The students are
supposed to progress to mastery in all areas by the end of kindergarten so
they can advance to first grade ready to go!
