About The Teacher
I have been teaching at Eisenhower School for fourteen years. Before I taught Kindergarten I taught Basic Skills Math, Third Grade, and Second Grade. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State in Computer Science, and a Master's Degree from Rutgers in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. My own two children are Eisenhower School graduates and I clearly remember the many different feelings I had when I sent them off to Kindergarten. We will work together to make this a nice transition for your child.

Our mission is to gain skills to start up the path of reading, and to learn about other topics that will help us make sense of the world in a fun and exciting way. We accomplish this using developmentally appropriate practices. We also establish character traits and citizenship skills that help us to thrive in our relationships with our fellow classmates and teachers.
