October has come with all it's glory. Sure signs of the season are here!
The weather is getting chilly, the leaves are changing and our noses are
beginning to run. OH NO! We are trying to stay healthy by washing our hands
more frequently, using good hygiene skills and not sneezing on one another.
Talk and practice good skills at home whenever possible.
This week we are discussing signs of Autumn, MONSTERS for the letter Mm and
beginning addition in our math book. Next week please remember there will be
no school on Monday. We will be learning about Christopher Columbus,
discussing fire saftey, and seeing real fire engines. WOW!
There is something new for you to look at, too! We have started a Parent -
Teacher Blog page. With older students, blogging means to log on and interact
with each other and their teacher. For our class, blogging is for the parent.
I will be posting some simple questions for which you may comment. Just
follow the directions and your thoughts and opinions will be heard.
