Spring
Green grass, lovely blossoms on trees and the bright colors of flowers all
around. Also a big time for allergies. Please let me know if your child has
begun any allergy medication. These often affect class performance, ability
to attend and energy to remain on task. On hotter days I will of course put
on our air conditioner. That will help with the sneezing, itchy eyes and
coughing.

Let's instill this love of books into our children. If they develop a love
for books and a desire to read this will serve them well the rest of their
lives. Read to your child very night, give them books they love to reread
thier own way, study reading word lists and practice Reading Stamina. reading
well is a major component of school success. We are starting strong and I am
sure we will reap the reward of wonderful readers.
