7th Grade
We will be working on a Project in class. Monday The students will make a
chart of all the students win thier class and write down what pets they have
and how many. They will make a frequency table of the class' pets and of the
sample class( which is given to them) Tuesday and Wednesday they will
complete the frequency table and make Double Bar graphs from the information
on the frequency tables. The students will answer questions and write a
compaison paragraph about the graph. Monday Nov. 9, 2009) the project will be
completed and handed in at the end of class.
8th Grade
Monday the students will work on Study Island in computer lab. They will
answer 20 questions on the Pre-Test and then answer 20 questions in lesson 2a
which is Order Numbers. Tuesday we will start a new project "The Trip" I will
go over the whole project. Students will take down notes as to what is to be
done for the poster and packet. Wednesday we will be in the computer lab
looking at trip destinations. ( The students are going to ask you for some
places they might like to visit. The trip is 1 week and they need 3
destinations and 3 attractions at eac destination.)
November 9, 2009
7th grade
Complete Pet Project on Monday in class. Tuesday is a Quiz and an Open Ended
questions Going Shopping. We will go oave excel spreadsheet Wednesday no
school. Thursday Excel spreadsheet in computer lab. The students will learn
how to use a formula to calculate the prices and use auto sum for the grand
total. Friday the students will work on Study Island on Lessons 2b Ratio
proportions and Percents and 2c Compare and order numbers in the computer lab.
8th Grade
Monday Tuesday and Wednesday we will continue working on the Trip project.
Monday we will be in the computer lab. Friday we will work in the GEPA book
on pages 17 to 22.
