Monday, November 16th
Health begins for periods 1, 3, 4, 7, and 8. Health class lasts for the
marking period.
Students should be prepared to take notes in a notebook or binder and have a
folder to maintain information.
Students will be requried to complete current event assignments each week.
The information can be obtained through the internet, magazines or
newspapers. In order to get credit for the assignment students will need to
summarize the information and attach to the article. Information will be
shared with the class, in order to enhance student public speaking skills.
Students will bring home an outline of topics that will be covered during
the marking period, which needs to be signed and returned.
Monday, November 30th
Students will need to bring appropriate reading material on Tuesdays. If
students do not have material to read magazines will be provided. At the end
of reading time students will share ideas about the material they read
improving public speaking skills. At times there will be a written
assignments with the reading
Current events will be due each Thursday unless there is a scheduled day off
from school.
Monday, December 7th
Parent Conferences on Tuesday, 12/8 1:00-2:30pm, Thursday, 12/9 7:00-9:00pm
Current Event article due Thursday
Test Friday
