Please remember to review the contents in your child's homework folder
together daily. We will be discussing the importance of responsibility this
year and would love the extra reinforcement at home. Homework is a
reflection on the individual. Please make sure the work is completed with a
parent's supervison and in your child's best handwriting. It is
important for homework to be checked and signed by a parent or
guardian.
In addition to a math worksheet every night here is the basic schedule:
Monday - Write spelling words 2x each in the notebook
Tuesday - Reading/Phonics Worksheet
Wednesday - Grammar/Writing Worksheet
Thursday - Rainbow words in the notebook
High Frequency Sight Words and Robust Vocabulary words are sent home on
Monday. These words should be reviewed frequently until mastered.
