For example, why aren't camels used in the remote areas of Mexico? What continent is the south of Chile near? You will have 25 minutes to review in the computer lab before the test. I strongly recommend you read the suggestions at the top of the actual Quia page. Here is a PhotoPeach show of Los Lugares, made by some students ![]() @ http://photopeach.com/album/7dxdpq#spiral The last day of this trimester is Friday, December 11th. Homework due Friday: return your textbooks. ![]() Homework due Wednesday and Thursday: Choose 4 of the places you may have trouble remembering. Then, draw a symbol (a ring for a jewelry store, for example) or picture and label in Spanish. Also, please begin returning your Spanish textbooks on Wednesday. We will also go to lab on Wednesday and Thursday, and after playing new games, you will take a more difficult quiz on the same places. Therefore, I have removed the sign in requirement and password from the quiz you just took on Quia so you can practice before tomorrow, if you have the time. Also--to those few of you who submitted on the first quiz without filling any in--simply to see the answers-- I realize you may not have had enough time, and that was what you thought you should do to score well. If that was the case, it was probably a good idea. ![]() "Places"on PhotoPeach http://photopeach.com/album/81p5il For a fantastic power point presentation on the above places and many more, visit #18 under the Treasure Chest icon.

Below this section, you will find icons to take you to presentations on the months.
Be able to list the months in order if given a list out of order,

Es un pez anaranjado. Es un burro gris.If you and your parents would like it included in an Animoto presentation to be added to this site, your permission slip needs to be handed in with your work. Don't forget, your name and homeroom teacher's name go on the back of the sheet.
Your drawings do not have to be good; as I told you, I can't draw at all. The purpose of the assignment is for you
to become familiar with animals, placing adjectives after nouns, and applying the colors.
We look forward to seeing your drawings!

Generously, instructor Paul Wildergren allows other teachers to use and change his power points to help teach others.
Using PhotoPeach, I put "La Rana va a la Escuela" in a spiral to music. Here's the story: the frog, "la rana," goes to school and finds many class objects. The question before each item asks, "What is this that the frog sees?" The answer follows in the next slide.
To show me that you watched this, let me know where "la rana" makes his new home.
Here's another from Paul Wildergren and PhotoPeach; this time the fish (el pez) was able to visit school.
It turns out that it rained so hard that he was able to go in and swim around. Guess what?
He found some class objects too. Watch this to see what he found, and who his new neighbor is.
