Mrs. Coleman and Mrs. Wells are very happy to be working at the UES. They
are excited about the enthusiasm the students have for music!
Mrs. Coleman is a graduate of Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the
Arts, and has been teaching in Sayreville for the past 17 years. She
specializes in instrumental music, but also teaches 5th grade general music.
Mrs. Coleman also plays the piano for various choral groups and community
theater productions.
Mrs. Wells is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and has been teaching
in Sayreville for the past 10 years. She specializes in choral music, and is
the 4th grade general music teacher. Mrs. Wells is an active member of
regional performing groups and has been seen locally in community theater
productions.
The mission for the music classes at the UES are to make the students the
best musicians that they can be, and to form a lifelong appreciation of the
arts.
