Mrs. Desmond has been with the Sayreville Public School District for over
nine years. She is a certified teacher and media specialist, with a
Master's degree in Educational Media Specialization. She is thrilled to be
working at the UES.
The mission of the library media center is to provide adequate service,
through personalized interaction and collaboration, to help meet the needs
of the students and faculty of the UES. The center will serve as a place
where all learners feel confident and comfortable and are treated with
respect. The media program will instill a love for reading, provide patrons
with the skills and resources they need to be effective and discriminating
researchers, incorporate the use of technology, enhance curricula, and
promote life-long learning.
