About The Teacher

Hello,
     I am Mrs. Eicher.  I am a lifelong Sayreville resident.  My husband and 
I choose to stay in Sayreville and raise our children.  I have a great deal 
of pride for this community and always wanted to give back in whatever way I 
could.  
     I have always wanted to teach, but I took the long road to get here.  I 
have a BA from Kean University and my teacher certification is from Saint 
Peter's University.  I have worked in the Sayreville schools since 1993 as a 
substitute.  I took about 5 years off to stay at home with my daughters.  
Once they were both in school, I started substituting again, while at the 
same time taking the classes I needed to finish my certification.  I love 
being in this school and working with your children.  I beleive in open 
communication so please do not ever hesitate to contact me with your 
questions, comments, or concerns.

Mission For The Class

I believe that every child has the right to learn in a safe, comfortable, 
and understanding environment.  I believe that each child is unique with 
thier own styles of learning.  I have one rule in my class that encompasses 
everything you would need, "Treat everyone the way you want to be treated."  
I want every student to feel comfortable with his/her learning abilities and 
to never feel embarrassed or ashamed.  I tell them all the time, "my job is 
to teach, their job is to learn and together we will be successful."
