In LAL we will be concentrating on the 4 parts of the Language Arts Literacy curriculum, Reading Comprehension, Spelling, Grammar, and Writing. The students will continue to expand their vocabulary and reading skills working with the Storytown Reading Series this year. They will engage in various techniques to develop their language skills and build off of previous years. They will participate in learning centers, small and whole group instruction, writing projects and other reading activities.
