Psychological Profiling - Characters and Salem Falls - Today students started
class by discussing factors that influence behavior. After creating a class
list, students were told that we were doing a group project in which our goal
is to create a psychological profile for one of our characters. A handout
with an explanation was distributed and all parts of the assignment were
explained. Handouts are available in our folder. In addition, students were
responsible for the following today:
1. Pick your group - 3 people maximum
2. Choose your character
3. Write down each member's name and document his/her role - evidence
finder, quote finder, and symbol selector
4. Bring this to me and have your character/roles/group approved.
5. Pick 3 factors and start researching.
6. Know what article/website you need to visit in order to get your articles
needed for tomorrow's class.

Homework: 3 articles - 1 for each factor/symbol - for tomorrow's class.

Thursday, December 3rd
Today students will share the articles they brought in with their group
members. A sample of what is expected will be distributed (a copy is in our
handouts folder) and discussed. For the remainder of the period, students
will work on their paragraphs for the three factors. Homework: Type your
paragraphs and be ready to put together your poster tomorrow. Presentations
are Monday

Friday, December 4th
Today students will share their paragraphs they typed for today and begin to
put together the poster for their presentation on Monday. Homework: Be
prepared to present your project on Monday. Make sure you review the
requirements and the rubric for the presentations.
