This 2012-13 school year will be my 20th year teaching. (WOW, that makes me
feel old!) I am a graduate of Montclair State College and have been fortunate
enough to have all twenty years of my experience right here at Wilson
School. Eighteen of those years have been in grade 3. I believe that with
a solid foundation and the proper skills and strategies, all children can
become good readers and writers. I also understand and accept that "success"
for each child is defined and measured differently. In my clasroom, every
child will be treated uniquely and with respect. My goal for your children
is to provide excellent instruction that prepares students to be full,
literate members of our society and not just people who can pass a test.
The mission of the Wilson Elementary third grade program is to provide
students with a safe and nurturing learning enviromnent in which each student
can excel to their fullest potential.
