About The Teacher

As an art teacher, I have a true passion for sharing my love of art-making 
and art history with my students.  Our art projects focus on famous artists 
and movements from art history as well as the experience of various 
materials.  We work with everything from oil pastels, to clay, to paint, to 
plaster.  My goals as a teacher are to provide encouragement, help improve 
observation and motor skills and provide the opportunity for expression with 
a myriad of art making materials.  

I graduated from Pratt Institute with a degree in Fine Arts.  After college I
worked for the SPF YMCA until joining the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Schools
family.  I am thrilled to be sharing my love of art with the students and I 
am looking forward to another fantastic year!
