Can I hand in my homework late? 1. If your homework or assignment is handed in after the beginning of class, it will be considered late and you will receive no more than half credit (1/2) 2. Homework will not be accepted if it is more than one (1) day late. Can I hand in homework if I was absent? When you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what work you missed. If homework is not made up within one (1) school day, it will not be accepted. If I was absent for a test, when must I make it up? If you knew that a test or quiz was scheduled prior to your absence, it must be made up on the day you return to school. It is available in the morning with advanced notice. What are my responsibilities if I go on a field trip or take a music lesson? If you choose to participate in a school-sponsored field trip or music lesson, I (we) must be notified well in advance. You are responsible for all work covered during your absence. Any assignments due the day of the trip or lesson must be handed in before leaving. A trip or lesson is not an excuse to submit work late. 1. You are expected to arrive in the classroom on time and report to your assigned seat. 2. Food, iPods and other such devices are not permitted in class. Cell phones must be turned off and out of sight. 3 Stay in your seat until the bell rings at the end of the period. Do not line up at the door. 4. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. 5 You are expected to bring all assigned books and supplies to class. Locker passes will not be issued. Can I get a printout of my grades? If you want to know what your grade is, just ask and I (we) will furnish you with a printout as soon as possible. |
