The following are expectations to better help you become involved and self-
motivated students. Fulfillment of these expectations will help determine
your participation grade:
1. Timeliness: Be seated when the bell rings, either working on the "Faire
Maintenant" or in your journal.
2. Preparation: Be prepared with the required materials for the class (HW,
worksheets, writing utensil, notebook).
3. Attentiveness: Give your full attention for the entire period and be
prepared when called upon.
4. Cooperativeness: Cooperate with Mme Schaffer's requests, stay in your
seat until dismissed.
5. Participation: Participate eagerly, make positive meaningful and
appropriate contributions (whether correct or incorrect).
6. Respectfulness: Always be respectful to teacher and to classmates.
7. Speaks French: Always attempt to use the target language first when
asking questions or making comments.
