What do I do if I miss Italian class?

If you miss class, check with your group to find out what classwork
activities and homework assignment was assigned each day you were absent
from class. You may also check Signora's website for posted homework
assignments. Please hand in missed work within 2 days of your return to
school.

What is the homework policy?

Homework is generally assigned Monday-Thursday and due the next school day.
No homework will be assigned on a Friday that will be due on a Monday.
A record of points will be maintained for completed homework assignments.
If you do not complete the assignments, you will not receive the points.
Late homework WILL NOT be accepted unless you were absent from class.

Are there projects in Italian class? How are they graded?

Several projects will be assigned throughout the year based on various
thematic units that we will be studying. There will usually be at least one
class period devoted to working on a project, but you will be reponsible for
completing projects on your own time.
A grading rubric will be provided with guidelines for each project. It is
important to carefully review the rubric guidelines before handing in your
project. It is also very important that you do not lose your rubric.
* THREE points will be deducted from your overall project grade if you lose
your rubric.
* FIVE points will be deducted each day your project is late, UNLESS
OTHERWISE SPECIFIED.
