I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving Holiday! This week in LA we will 
have a test. Tested skills include vocabulary, antonyms, common/proper nouns 
and summarizing. We will also have a spelling test on our long e words.We 
will then start our new theme about Wolves. Students will learn about 
fantasy/reality, plural nouns, punctuation review and words with the ch 
sound. In math we will learn different ways to analyze data as we focus on 
chapter 6. We will study plant and animal life cycles in science. In social 
studies we will focus on the original inhabitants of America. In religion we 
will continue to learn about reconciliation as we focus on chapter 9..

Don't forget the St. Nick sale on Tuesday. Make sure your child is has some 
money to spend. Check their home folder for an envelope for this event.Don't 
forget that Friday is a noon dismissal. Check the communication envelope for 
other details and information.
