Well, only a few more days left. The children are really excited now,
especially now that it will be a white Christmas.
Special Announcement: DRESS-DOWN DAY - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22 for the
Kindergarten through grades 4.
Wednesday,Dec.23- 8:30 Christmas Liturgy, parent social to follow in
the cafeteria. Children will have a celebration in their own classroom. Any
parent attending the social may sign out their child early if you so desire.
Otherwise, dismissal will be in the usual manner at 11:30AM.
With all the excitement in the air,it is a little difficult keeping the
children focused on work. We are trying to get some work done and still have
fun,too.
The children are listening to various versions of the story of Christmas. We
are working on the numbers 8,9,10. Sounding out words and listening for the
sound of /k/like in /c/at are word literacy skills we are working on, also.
We wish you a Blessed Christmas and a time with your family that is filled
with peace and memorable moments. Cherish these times, the years go by much
too quickly. May the New Year be a Happy and Healthy one for all.
