Saint Bartholomew's Fine Arts Program is designed to encourage the children to explore and develop various musical and theatrical talents.

Classroom Music

• Disciplines Taught:
  • Singing, Rhythms, and Rhythmic Instruments
  • Recorders: 4th and 5th grades
  • Melody Bells: 6th grade (January to June)
• Schedule:
  • Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st through 4th grades are scheduled for 30 minutes weekly
  • 5th through 8th grades are scheduled for 45 minutes weekly
• Performances:
  • Holiday Program - December
  • Kindergarten Graduation – June

Honor Society:  Sponsored by the MENC: The National Association for Music Education, Tri-M is the international honor society recognizing secondary music students for their musical ability, academic excellence, school involvement, and community service.  Induction ceremony for graduating 8^th grade students is conducted at the Spring Concert.

Band Program is open to students in grades 4 through 8

• Fees:
  • Registration: $50 due in June for the following year
  • Activity Fees: $75 due in October
  • Uniforms: Shirts are ordered through Flynn and O'Hara

  • Lessons: 30 minutes weekly during the school day on a rotating schedule
  • Rehearsals: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after school 1:45 - 3:00 PM

  • CJMEA Band Festival - May
  • Spring Concert - May

Chorus is open to students in grades 3 through 8

Drama Club “Curtain Time” is open to students in grades 6 through 8

• Fees:
  • Registration: $50 due in June for the following year
  • Activity Fees: $50 due in October
  • Costume rental: Varies with each production
