Mrs. Savio is in her 50th year of teaching and has been the director of the
Music Department at St. Bartholomew School for 40 years. She originated and
developed the Music Curriculum and established the Band, Chorus and Drama
programs.
Mrs. Savio is an active member of many professional organizations including
The National Association for Music Education (MENC); New Jersey Music
Educators Association (NJMEA); National Catholic Educational Association
(NCEA); and the National Association of Catholic School Teachers (NACST).
Mrs. Savio has also been accepted into the Who's Who of American Women and
American Teachers.
To encourage the successful integration of Music Education into the school
curriculum and create an enlightning and cultural environment for the
students.
