HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed lots of family
time over the Christmas vacation. Now, as the Seven Dwarves so accurately put
it....off to work we go!
BUT, before we do, I just want to say that it was wonderful to see so
many of our school parents at the social after that beautiful School
Christmas Liturgy. The second grade class did a wonderful job---many thanks
to Mrs. Wierzbicki who prepared them so well and her daughter, Katie, who
came in to assist that day. I had the lovely experience of connecting at the
social with two former students, who now live in Europe, as well as a former
East Brunswick teacher (grandmother of two of our students) who I knew many
years ago. Those experiences made the day even more meaningful.
And now...off to work! Grades K-2 will be working with software which
correlates to the Science curriculum as well as working in online sites.
Grades 3,4 and 5 get back to work on their keyboarding skills. Grade 6
will be working in Writing Roadmap and possibly Power Point. Grades 7 and 8
will continue/complete a Power Point assignment started just before the
holidays.
I'm looking forward to a fantastic 2010 for all of us!
Love and prayers,
Mrs. Z
