Announcements

For the most part, this screen has not changed from last week as I was
out of school for the week with a very serious infection which had me on
bedrest. I have, however, posted some new information at the very bottom so
please be sure to note that. During my absence, when their personal teaching
schedule would allow, some of the teachers were able to take their individual
classes to the Computer Lab during regularly scheduled time.
Children in grades K through 2 continue to work on key identification in
an online website and are using software programs to enrich their Language
Arts and Math curriculums.
Grades 3 and 4 will return to their keyboarding work so they are better
able to enter data into the computer.
Grade 5 had a delay in actually working in the Writing Roadmap program,
but now that we have received their user IDs and passwords, they will
experience the program in its' entirety this week.
6th and 7th grades will be working in the Writing Roadmap tutorial this
week and next week will begin working in the program.
8th graders will be working in an online Math program this week.
It was wonderful to see so many of our families represented at the
International Festival last week! What a wonderful sense of community
permeated the room! Many thanks to the Folk Dancers from the Hungarian
American Club in New Brunswick who entertained us through dance.
     Have a blessed week~
                                          Love and prayers,
                                               Mrs. Z

******For those of you, 1-8, who have not registered for Power School and
would like to do so, I will be available during both afternoon and evening
conference times if you would like to make an appointment to come into the
computer lab after your conference and fill out the necessary paperwork and
view the required video presentation. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes
to complete this process.
So that I have your paperwork available and enough Cds for viewing,
please either call the school office and schedule a time with Mrs. Gumbert or
email me at KZurawlow@stbartseb.com.
I hope to see many of you at the Basket Raffle on Friday night...I hear
the baskets are the best ever! Good luck to all!
