About The Teacher
Mrs. Zurawlow has been at St. Bartholomew School since the early 1980's. Her teaching experience includes Roosevelt Jr. High School in Elizabeth, 10 yrs. at J.P. Stevens High School in Edison where she started girl's varsity Soccer in Middlesex County while also coaching Girl's Basketball and Track, 3 yrs. as an Adjunct Professor at Kean College, and 4 years as an Aerobics Instructor with Aerobic Dancing, Inc. In addition, Mrs. Zurawlow has worked part time in management with the Home News, the Star Ledger and holds a Broker's License in the Real Estate Profession, currently associated with Gabrielle Realty in Milltown. She is/has been a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, RCIA Catechist and Sponsor and was part of a 3 person Team acting as coordinator of the Parish Renew experience in the 1990's. She has been at St. Bartholomew's since 1982 and during 4 of those years served as Associate Principal under Miss Maria Leonard from the 2000 school year through June 2004 (when she chose to resign) and as Acting Principal for 6 weeks in the spring of 2008 and often refers to the school/parish as her second home.
