EIGHTH GRADE NEWS
The eighth grade will be selling Gertrude Hawk chocolates for Easter. Each family will receive a Gertrude Hawk brochure today. All orders should be returned to school by Tuesday, February 23. We will notify you of the date for delivery once the orders have been placed. Please make checks payable to St. James the Apostle School. Thank you for your continued support.
RE-REGISTRATION
All re-registration forms should be returned to the Office by tomorrow, February 5, in order to avoid a $50.00 late charge. Please remember to inform the Office if your child will not be returning for the 2010 – 2011 School Year.
PreK - 3 and PreK - 4 CONFERENCES
Mrs. Quagliato and Mrs. Tiplady will be holding conferences on Thursday, February 25. This will give the parents and guardians a chance to talk with their child’s teacher concerning the student’s progress to date. The Preschool classes will be cancelled on this day so that the conferences will be uninterrupted. A letter will follow with all of the details and a sign up form.
FRIDAYS IN LENT
During the Lenten season the school will not be serving meat on Ash Wednesday and Fridays. ALL students who bring their lunch to school are asked to bring lunches that do not contain meat. If a lunch contains meat, the student will be asked to select an item from the school menu and you will be charged. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
TAX STATEMENT REQUESTS
Anyone requesting a statement for Before / After Care or Summer Camp for the 2009 year must submit a request in writing to the school. A fee of $5.00 will be charged per request.
