Welcome To Our School of Peace and Tolerance
Good Shepherd Regional Catholic School comprises of a preschool for three and four year olds, a kindergarten, an elementary and a middle school. Faith formation and academics are our top priority, however, the students are offered many opportunities for extracurricular involvement, including Varsity and Jr. Varsity sports teams, clubs such as yearbook and math, choir, music lessons, services, activities, peace and tolerance, peer mediation, chess, drama and field trips. We offer an after-school program from 2:50-6:00 PM daily, as well as a before school program from 7 AM with breakfast. We have a very active and enthusiastic PTA which works to support the school both financially and socially. We are currently taking registrations now for the 2008-2009 school year. Call 856-858-1562 for more information and for a tour of the facilities.
We are proud of our traditions, our program and of our faith formation. Jesus is present in all we do.

WELCOME TO GOOD SHEPHERD REGIONAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Welcome to Good Shepherd Regional Catholic School. We want you to know that when you are here, you are family! I hope this website will give you an opportunity to get acquainted with us. We think we are a really special school. We expect a lot of our staff, our parents and "our" children. The result is a quality enviornment in which every person in our community has the opportunity to grow. Jesus makes the difference in our school. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus tells us all to "proclaim the good news." What is the news? It's that everyone, every person, is part of God's plan for salvation. That is what Catholic Schools are about...bringing people to God and God to the people. We do this through our daily prayers and our curriculum as well as our good works. We are very excited about all the programs in our school. We have developed a new Math/Language Lab. This is were children can work on individual skills to enrich or remediate curriculum concepts. We are also excited about our new Art Room. This room is equipped with all that we need to promote the "artist of tomorrow." Spanish has also been introduced according to the state of NJ Core Curriculum. Spanish is taught in grades K-8. Our physical site, the building, is in tip-top shape. We are very proud of our school building. Yes, we are very excited about Good Shepherd School, and we hope you will be too.
We are very assessible to the PATCO line (highspeed with a station stop directly adjacent to our school building. Students residing in the Philadelphia and Camden areas have easy access to our school.
Our teachers have many years of experience and all are certified in their field. We are proud of the yearly professional development courses our teachers undertake to keep abreast of the NJ Core Curriculum Standards.
Our school day begins at 8:15 AM with the late bell at 8:20 AM. We begin with prayer and a scripture reading on our public address system, followed by a daily prayer for peace. Our day ends at 2:50 PM. with an optional after school program until 6 PM.
We are excited about some new programs to be introduced during the 2008-2009 school year. Go to our Monthly School News section in the upper left-hand corner to learn about these programs.
God Bless You!

LOOK FOR MANY NEW PROGRAMS IN 2008-2009
As we came together with Holy Saviour School, look for the new programs that will be available to our students.
Good Shepherd School will be the only school where our parents, students and teachers will begin a new tradition. The schools that have not merged will follow their own history, programs and policies.
Check out the GSS!!
BE A PART OF IT!!! There are many benefits for the charter members.
